Camp Ondessonk Hosting Father Son Weekend April 22-24, 2016
Ozark, IL–Camp Ondessonk, an Illinois Not for Profit 501(c)(3) Youth Camp will be hosting Father Son Weekend April 22-24, 2016.
“The Father Son Weekend program is designed for Fathers to share their love of the outdoors with their sons .”, states Alissa Hollmann- Camping Services Director at Camp Ondessonk. Attendees can either stay in our renowned Tree-House cabins or upgrade to the newly renovated St. Noel Retreat and Conference Center. “We are proud to work with the next generation of campers not only to sharpen their skills but to promote responsible outdoor education and the stewardship of nature.” states Greg Santen- Program Director at Camp Ondessonk.
The Father Son Weekend is for all ages and provides family campers the opportunity to experience horseback riding, archery, crafts, hiking, canoeing and rock-climbing in the heart of the Shawnee National forest located in Southern Illinois. Meals provided include Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner on Saturday as well as Breakfast and an optional Lunch on Sunday. This program is designed to give Family Campers a taste of multiple adventures within one weekend.

Since 1959, Camp Ondessonk has been offering summer camp programs to youth ages 8 to 17.
