PRICING STRUCTURE
Camp Ondessonk is a premier adventure destination of the Midwest. Our camper fees are extremely competitive and unlike many other summer camps, Ondessonk does not charge additional fees for horseback riding or senior camper electives.

Camp Ondessonk is a self-sufficient organization that relies entirely on camper fees, grants, and contributions to operate.  Unlike many other camps, prices are all-inclusive; all kids have access to all activities included in their program with no additional fees, period. Realizing that we serve a wide variety of families with varying abilities to pay, we’ve adopted a 3-tier pricing program. Please review the descriptions and decide which of the three prices your family is able and willing to pay for your child’s camp experience. This is strictly based on the honor system and in no way influences the experience children receive.

Rate A: Based on the actual cost of participation. Includes expenses for staff, maintenance, food, programs, supplies, and wear/tear depreciation.

Rate B: This is our partially subsidized rate. It does not fully reflect the true cost of participation.

Rate C: This is our standard subsidized fee. It does not reflect the true cost of participation.

**Early Bird Rate: Summer Camp Early Bird online enrollment begins October 2, 2023.

**The Early Bird discount pricing may not be used with the Scholarship Program or combined with Multi-Child or Multi-Session discounts. Early Bird discount pricing is only valid from Oct 2, 2023 – Feb. 1, 2024.  Not all camping sessions are included in the Early Bird discount program. Discounts MUST be paid in full by February 1st.  All balances not paid in full will automatically be changed to the Rate C amount on February 2nd.  After sign up, participants within the Early Bird discount program will be required to pay the full upgrade cost if a different camping session or camping program is chosen which is not included in the Early Bird Discount pricing dates.

Ondessonk Tuition Payments
You can make installment payments easily and securely using our online registration system.  Login and make a payment according to your schedule and budget.  All balances are due four weeks before camper’s arrival.

DISCOUNTS

Multiple Child Discount
Families pay regular advertised camp session rate for the first child registered. Request a $45 discount for each additional child you register. This discount applies to children within immediate families. Cannot be combined with Early Bird Super Session Discount.

Multiple Session Discount
Campers pay regular advertised rate for the first camp session purchased. Request a $45 discount for each additional camp session purchased. This discount applies to individual children enrolling in more than one session.  Cannot be combined with Early Bird Super Session Discounts or Lodge Camp Discount.

Lodge Camp Discount
Campers pay regular advertised rate for the first camp session purchased. If attending Lodge Camp as a second session, request this $125 discount. 

Refer a Friend Program
Help sign up a new camper this summer, and you and your new camper friend will both receive $20 in non-refundable barter bucks for the Trading Post. Submit your referral online today!

Program Rules:

  • Referred camper must be a new camper.
  • You cannot refer yourself.
  • The camper you referred cannot refer you back.
  • There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer, and we encourage our camper families to share with as many friends as they can.
  • Referred camper cannot reside at the same address as the referrer.
  • Non-refundable barter bucks will be applied once Camp tuition is paid in full.
  • Non-refundable barter bucks are only valid on-site during the camper’s session and may not be exchanged for cash.

Program requests must be submitted at least seven days prior to your camp’s start date. The program can be terminated at any time, and without notice.

CANCELLATION / REFUND / TRANSFER POLICY

  • Full camper registration fees (including deposit) are refundable for medical reasons only and will be issued upon receipt of doctor’s authorized medical excuse.
  • Cancellations made more than 4 weeks in advance of session start date are refundable except for the $100 non-refundable deposit and a $10 processing fee.
  • Cancellations made less than 4 weeks in advance of session start date are non-refundable. Campers that switch to a later session within the original four-week window are not eligible for a refund.
  • No refunds will be given due to an early departure.
  • Tuition deposits and payments are non-transferable.

Need to switch your camp session?  You must use this online form to switch your session. 
PLEASE NOTE: If you are within 2 weeks of your camp’s start date, you will be charged a $25 switch fee.

Need to cancel your camp session? You must use this online form to cancel your session.

Barter Buck Refunds
Any camper with a balance of less than $1.00 will not be refunded. Those funds will automatically be applied to the Camper Scholarship Fund. If a camper has more than $1.00 in their Camp store account, a Camp counselor will ask the parent/guardian during check-out if they would like to donate the funds to the Camper Scholarship Fund or be refunded. Refunds will be returned in the same manner with which they were paid. Camp store balances cannot be left in their accounts.

This does not apply to Layover campers. Unused barter bucks for Layover campers will automatically be transferred to their next session.
