Update Camp Ondessonk Hosting Haunted Hayride and Trick or Treat Event October 27 & 28

Update-Due to the weather forecast for Friday, October 27th, the Haunted Forest Hayride and Trick or Treat event will be cancelled Friday evening. However, the event on Saturday, October 28th from 5:00 pm-10:00 pm is still scheduled to take place as planned.  See you Saturday Night!

Ozark, ILCamp Ondessonk, an Illinois Not for Profit 501(c)(3) Youth Camp will be hosting a Haunted Hayride and Trick or Treat Event Friday October 27 from 6:00 pm- 10:00 pm and Saturday October 28 from 5:00 pm -10:00 pm.

Ondessonk Haunted Forest Trick or Treat Event“The Haunted Hayride & Trick or Treat Event is designed for families to have a reasonably priced Halloween themed night out with complimentary trick or treat stations for the kids.”, states Alissa Hollmann- Camping Services Director at Camp Ondessonk.   “The proceeds will help send some very deserving kids to Camp, all proceeds from the event go to camping program expenses and facility improvement.”,  states Dan King – Executive Director at Camp Ondessonk.

Kids will follow a map and hit all of the trick or treat stations to collect a selection of Halloween goodies. Haunted Hayrides will run every half hour starting at 6:00 pm ending at 10:00 pm on Friday and run every half hour starting at 5:00 pm ending at 10:00 pm Saturday.  “The hayrides for the first hour will be a little less scary for our younger guests so if you are a scare seeker the 7:00 pm-10:00 pm hayrides are just for you! ” states Louise McMinn- Events Coordinator at Camp Ondessonk. .
