31st Annual Pete Korte Memorial Golf Benefit for Camp Ondessonk Continues a Legacy of Generosity
Friends and supporters of Camp Ondessonk gathered at Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course on Saturday, September 26, for the 31st Annual Pete Korte Memorial Golf Benefit. For more than three decades, this special tournament has brought together friends, families, businesses, and Camp supporters for a day of fellowship, friendly competition, and, most importantly, a shared commitment to helping kids experience Camp Ondessonk.
Longtime Camp supporter Pete Korte began this tradition with a simple purpose: “It’s for the kids.” That same spirit continues today. Camp Ondessonk and Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. were proud to host this year’s tournament, which has now raised more than $1 million throughout its history to support the campers and mission of Camp Ondessonk.
This year’s tournament welcomed 112 players and raised more than $36,960 for Camp Ondessonk! We are deeply grateful to every participant, sponsor, donor, and volunteer who helped make the day a success.
A special thank you goes to the many volunteers who gave their time and energy to make the tournament possible. From preparing and serving lunch to registering teams, organizing raffles and games, assisting with setup and cleanup, and helping throughout the day, your support made a tremendous difference.
