Adult Lodge Survey Results

Adult Lodge Survey Results

In the most recent Lodge Newsletter, Camp Ondessonk asked adult Lodge members how the organization can better engage with and serve all generations of Lodge members. The results are in, as promised, and the Lodge of Ondessonk & Tekakwitha is excited to be receiving open and honest feedback to improve all members’ experiences. Overall, there were 14 responses to the survey, spread out over the age range of 26 to 75. Six of the ten Councils were represented, including Chicago, Clinton County, Evansville, Metro East, Springfield, and Tri-State. A strong percentage, 79%, of respondents pay their Lodge dues, while only 35% of responding members consider themselves to be active in Lodge. When asked what type of Lodge activities would interest them, the respondents said: serving on an adult Lodge member committee (28%), serving on work weekends (25%), participating in other volunteer events (25%), planning Lodge fundraisers or activities (11%), and being a Lodge mentor for their Council (11%) – participants could select as many activities as they wanted. Members were also asked how interested they would be in attending a regional gathering in their area to meet other active adult members in their Council and to learn more about what is happening with Camp Ondessonk and Lodge. The average level of interest, on a scale of 1-10 was a 7.7. Thank you to all those who participated! Make sure to keep an eye out for upcoming adult Lodge member events in your area soon.
