2025–2026 Lodge of Ondessonk and Tekakwitha Officials
The Lodge of Ondessonk and Tekakwitha welcomes its 2025–2026 Lodge Officials: Senior Lodge Officials Maggie DuRoss, Emma Linn, and Lizzy Schauster, and Lodge Official Olivia Niemeier. These dedicated leaders will guide Lodge through another year of connection, service, and tradition ensuring that the spirit of Lodge continues to be an active part of the Ondessonk experience.
Senior Lodge Official – Maggie DuRoss

Returning for a second year, Maggie DuRoss brings deep passion and experience to her leadership. Reflecting on her past year as an Official, she describes the role as one of her “most creatively challenging, collaborative, and rewarding experiences” at Camp. Maggie has helped expand Lodge beyond summer programming, strengthening community through virtual and in-person events and fostering inclusion for members near and far.
With a background in leadership as Camp’s Special Activities Coordinator and a student leader at the University of Michigan, Maggie hopes to continue improving Council engagement and evolving Lodge ceremonies. Her focus this year is on enhancing equity among Councils and inspiring campers and staff to see Lodge as both meaningful and welcoming.
Senior Lodge Official – Emma Linn

For Emma Linn, Lodge is about community and connection. Inducted in 2018, Emma has served as both a Peoria Lodge Council Official and a Worldwide Lodge Official, consistently helping coordinate work weekends, reunions, and council gatherings.
As both Mini Activity Coordinator and Lodge Official this past summer, Emma strengthened her leadership across Camp, ensuring that Lodge traditions remain vibrant and accessible. She hopes to continue developing systems that better support local Councils and create inclusive spaces for members to serve their communities and build lasting bonds with Camp Ondessonk.
Senior Lodge Official – Lizzy Schauster

Lizzy Schauster’s Lodge journey began in 2017, and her commitment to service and creativity has only deepened since. A longtime Metro East Lodge Council Official, she helped organize community events, parades, and fundraisers, and was instrumental in every Lodge Ceremony of 2024.
As both a Lodge Official and Special Activities Coordinator in 2025, Lizzy has played an integral role in planning reunions, supporting councils, and coordinating the powerful Thursday night ceremonies that define the Lodge experience. In the year ahead, she hopes to increase offseason participation and communication across all Councils, empowering members to serve from wherever they are.
Lodge Official – Olivia Niemeier

New to the team this year, Olivia Niemeier brings energy, dedication, and a deep love for Lodge’s mission. A member of the Evansville Lodge Council since 2022, Olivia has helped organize work weekends, meetings, and fundraisers, while also serving as a key leader in the Lodge Ceremony.
Her leadership extends beyond Camp, serving as her school’s National Honor Society President, Student Council Homeroom Representative, and soccer team captain, skills she now brings to Lodge. Olivia hopes to foster greater engagement throughout the year, increase collaboration between councils, and ensure every member feels connected and valued within the Lodge community.
Together, Maggie, Emma, Lizzy, and Olivia embody the heart of the Lodge of Ondessonk and Tekakwitha: service, leadership, and a commitment to carrying the spirit of Camp Ondessonk beyond the summer. Under their guidance, Lodge will continue to inspire campers, staff, and alumni to live out Camp’s values all year long.
