Thanks to Volunteers!

Well, it’s 4:30 p.m. on Friday, and I have a Friday deadline that I didn’t know about until I came in at noon – when things finally thawed after our latest round of Winter’s worst.

I’m sitting at my desk, trying to thaw out my thoughts and wondering which Camp volunteer I should “Spotlight” this month.  Since there are just too many outstanding, “got your back,” “we got this,” volunteers for me to choose one at this time, I will use this space to say thanks! Thanks to the too-numerous-to-mention dedicated Camp Friends who generously devote thousands of hours each year to our beloved Camp Ondessonk.

You can imagine the quandary I face each month featuring just one of our amazing volunteers.  I promise “more later” on some of these deserving folks, all of whom bring joy to my life on a regular basis.

So, thank you, to the hundreds of volunteers who make my job easy, AND, who make a significant difference at Camp Ondessonk.  All I need is to receive your volunteer application, and a rewarding journey along with the title of “Camp Volunteer” will begin.
