Your Camp Story Matters: Share Your Ondessonk Memories
For generations, Camp Ondessonk has been a place where unforgettable memories are made. From crossing the Covered Bridge for the first time to singing around a campfire, hiking the trails, sleeping under the stars, or laughing with cabinmates late into the night, every camper, staff member, volunteer, and family has a story that helps make Camp special.
Now, we want to hear yours.
Camp Ondessonk is inviting members of the Camp Family to share their favorite Camp memories through our online Share Your Camp Memories form. Whether your memories come from last summer or 40 years ago, your stories help preserve the traditions, experiences, and Spirit of Ondessonk that continue to connect generations.
Maybe you remember:
- Your first overnight or all-day hike
- A favorite Unit Leader or counselor
- Campfires, Lodge ceremonies, or evening programs
- Lifelong friendships formed at Camp
- Learning a new skill for the very first time
- A funny moment that still makes you laugh today
- The feeling of coming home to Camp each summer
Every memory tells part of the Camp Ondessonk story.
These shared experiences not only celebrate Camp’s history but also help inspire future campers and remind us all why Camp Ondessonk remains such an important place in the lives of so many people.
No story is too big or too small. Sometimes it’s the simplest moments, a walk around the lake, the sound of laughter in the unit, or watching the stars overhead, that leave the greatest impact.
Your memories are part of what keeps the Spirit of Camp Ondessonk alive for generations to come. We invite you to take a few minutes to reflect, remember, and share your Camp story with us.
