The Camp Community Shines Bright on Giving Tuesday 2024!
On December 3, 2024, the Camp Ondessonk community came together as a thriving family of supporters dedicated to empowering kids through exceptional outdoor and spiritual adventures. On this Giving Tuesday, 116 friends of Camp came together to raise an astounding $21,239, unlocking an additional $15,500 in matching gifts. Altogether, the day’s efforts brought in $36,739 to support Camp’s mission!
This incredible success was made possible through the generosity and leadership of the Lowder Family, who pledged a $10,000 matching gift, Jean and Chuck Weiss who contributed $2,500 to match gifts made in the afternoon, and Steve and Teresa Bushong, who matched up to $3,000 in gifts made during the last hours of the day. Their matching challenges inspired donors to give big, amplifying every contribution and making Giving Tuesday 2024 one that will benefit everyone who travels down the Camp Road in the coming year.
The success of this Giving Tuesday campaign reflects the unwavering dedication of Camp’s friends and alumni. Each gift, no matter the size, plays a role in sustaining Camp’s mission, ensuring Camp Ondessonk continues to serve as a place where everyone can grow, connect, and thrive.
