Meet Our 2020 Lodge Officials
2019 has been another great year for the Lodge of Ondessonk and Tekakwitha! As we move into the new year, we are excited to welcome three new 2020 Lodge Officials into their positions: Sarah Petrowich, John McKown & Lathan Bower, along with Isabelle Lin, our returning Senior Lodge Official.
Sarah Petrowich has been a part of the Ondessonk community for seven years and a Lodge member for six years. The summer of 2020 will be her fourth year on staff. She is currently attending the University of Missouri majoring in Journalism with a minor in Political Science and plans to graduate in 2023.
John McKown has been involved with camp for seven years, and involved with Lodge for five years. The summer of 2020 will he his fourth year on staff. He will be attending school in Carbondale, IL, for Secondary Education, and plans to graduate in 2023.
Lathan Bower joined the Ondessonk family seven years ago and was inducted into Lodge in 2014. Lathan formerly served as a Council Official for the Peoria Lodge Council and is excited to serve the Lodge of Ondessonk and Tekakwitha again. This summer, Lathan will be returning for his fourth year on staff during the summer of 2020. He is currently attending University of Illinois majoring in Communications and expects to graduate in 2023.
Working alongside the three new Officials, Isabelle Linn will be stepping into the Senior Official position as she returns for her second year as an Official of Lodge. Isabelle was first introduced to Camp Ondessonk in 2011 and was inducted into Lodge in 2012. She served as a Council Official for the Peoria Lodge Council for 5 years before becoming an Official of Lodge in 2018. Isabelle will be returning to work for the fourth summer at Ondessonk in 2020. She currently attends Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL and is pursuing a degree in Outdoor Recreation Management and Leadership with plans to graduate in 2022.
As the four Officials, we are eager to work together to serve the members of the Lodge of Ondessonk and Tekakwitha and the entire Camp Ondessonk community.
