Each year, the Scholarship Fund ensures that every child can experience and enjoy a week at Camp regardless of their financial situation.
No one can explain the true impact of scholarship support better than scholarship recipients. Here are messages from a few 2022 campers who benefitted from the Scholarship Fund.
“Camp O taught me that I can do so much more than I ever thought I could. I can ride a horse, hike for miles, make new friends, shoot a rifle, learn how to make bracelets and colorful crafts. There’s never a dull moment at Camp Ondessonk…playing fun Tuesday night games, swimming in the beautiful lakes, or singing songs by the overnight campfire. “I love Camp O because you have a special bond with your cabinmates that you haven’t had with many people…When I first came to Camp O I didn’t know how special it was, but I started realizing how special and blessed I am to go to Camp O. “Camp Ondessonk is like my home away from home. One of my favorite things about camp are the people. Everyone at Camp is so kind and understanding, I make friends with my unit mates really easily because everyone is so open and fun. My favorite thing about camp is the nature.
