More than 400 Camp Friends saddled up for fun during Labor Day Friends Weekend – Camp O Rodeo!
A tradition revived in 1987, Labor Day Friends Weekend is a wonderful weekend at Camp Ondessonk to reunite with Ondessonk Friends and Family.
This year’s festivities kicked off on Thursday, August 29th when guests started arriving and settling into their units. In addition to enjoying Summer Camp activities like Handicrafts, Swimming, and Archery, many took to the trails on horseback or tested their skills on the High Challenge Course.
On Sunday night, the Camp Friends in attendance came together to celebrate the completion of Camp’s 65th Summer with dinner and live music by Bill Poss and the Useful Tools with Special Guest Brian Croft. Many dressed up in their favorite Rodeo wear and boot-scooted the night away.
