Embracing Service and Supporting Summer Camp 

Service is a key element of being an active member of The Loyal Lodge of Ondessonk & Tekakwitha. After taking part in the Lodge Ceremony on Thursday night, Candidates complete service projects alongside active Lodge members to become a full member.  

The service projects completed during Summer Camp help keep Camp running smoothly and address needs as they arrive. Projects included: 

• Placing rock borders along the trails leading into the Council Ring; 

• Pulling lily pads out of Lake Echon; 

• Clearing ditches to allow for water flow and prevent flooding; 

• Picking up trash at activity areas and units; 

• Rebuilding the rock area under the water spicket at the barn; 

• Cleaning around the lake road and main area; 

• Trail maintenance near the dining hall; 

• Deep cleaning Raganeau and Lalande.
