30th Annual Golf Benefit Continues Legacy of Generosity and Support

Friends and supporters of Camp Ondessonk gathered as the sun rose at the Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course Saturday, September 27, just as they have done for the last 30 years. Longtime Camp supporter Pete Korte began this tradition with one purpose – “it’s for the kids” – as he reminded participants year after year before his passing in 2023. Camp Ondessonk and Korte & Luitjohan Contractors, Inc. were proud to host the 30^th Annual Pete Korte Memorial Golf Benefit this year, which has raised almost $1 million over its lifetime to benefit the Campers of Ondessonk.

This year’s tournament drew 116 players and raised more than $36,000! A heartfelt thank you goes out to our donors and participants for your generosity and continued support of Camp’s mission to provide exceptional outdoor and spiritual adventures empowering kids of all ages. We are also incredibly grateful to our volunteers who donated their time and energy to prepare our delicious lunch, register teams, run our raffle games, and help with setup and cleanup.
