Let Camp Ondessonk help plan your next Company Retreats. Company Retreats are a fantastic way to facilitate bonding and company planning in a relaxed environment.
Henry Ford once shared that “coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success.” Whether your team is just coming together or has been together for a long time, now is a great opportunity to work toward success by growing in teamwork, communication, and community. Camp Ondessonk is the perfect setting to get away from your daily grind to work on growing as a team. We provides lodging, meals, team building and adventure activities, and meeting spaces. We offer one, two, or three-day programs, each of which is tailored to the needs of your specific organization. All of our team building and adventure activities are designed to help teams overcome the challenges that many organizations face in an ever-changing world.
Activities: Adventure and leadership programs develop group communication, problem-solving, and cooperation. Our High Challenge Course is designed to engage the entire group, not just the climber. The Low Challenge Course incorporates a series of challenging obstacles that groups must overcome using creative problem-solving and communication. Looking for more of your traditional camp activities, Camp Ondessonk can also offer nature explorations, archery, boating, and more. If you are staying overnight, our staff can provide a fire for your team or a night stroll to see the stars.
Meeting Spaces: Camp Ondessonk offers a variety of indoor and outdoor meeting spaces for your team to host planning or team development sessions during company retreats. Our Dining Hall provides a large open space including projector screens and internet that enables you to transition effortlessly from a meal into a meeting. We also have the indoor Staff Lounge and St. Noel Basement with multiple rooms for breakout sessions. If you prefer to be outside but covered, visit the Old Dining Hall for some fresh air while you meet. You could also organize a team hike to the Grotto, meet down on the beach, or at the top of a bluff. The bottom line is, if you have the need for a meeting, then we have lots of different options to choose from. We have a projector, screen, internet access, and audio system available at all indoor locations.
Meals: Camp Ondessonk has all your meals covered while you are here. Camp Ondessonk employs a year-round food service team to provide quality meals, and we can accommodate a variety of dietary restrictions and food allergies. In addition to our hot meals, the Ondessonk Kitchen can also prepare picnic or trail lunches for your team to take on a hike throughout the day.
Lodging: If your team is looking to attend a multi-day retreat, Camp Ondessonk has a variety of lodging experiences to meet your team’s needs and comfort level. One option is our 3-sided treehouse cabin units which take full advantage of their natural surroundings. They are intentionally designed and located to maximize visitors’ experience of tranquility and inspiration of nature. Some are on the ground for easier access, one is built under a shelter bluff with its own waterfall, and others are walled in for a bit more security. Whichever unit you choose, you will be immersed by the natural world in a unique setting. Most cabin units have 5-6 cabins and sleep around 40 guests. All cabin units have fire pits, benches, picnic tables, a water spigot, an outhouse, and are close to a shower house. If you are looking to enjoy the outdoors during the day, but prefer a four-sided location to sleep, then the St. Noel Retreat and Conference Center is perfect for your group. St. Noel offers nine hostel-style, climate-controlled guest rooms with private bathrooms and free WiFi.
