Leave your Legacy with a Gift to Camp

Leave your Legacy with a Gift to Camp

By Whitney Strang

Gift planning offers you the chance to leave your legacy at Camp Ondessonk after your lifetime.

Here are a few ways you can make future gifts to Camp Ondessonk to align your charitable giving with your overall financial and estate plans:

  • A bequest in your will – You can give a specified dollar amount, item or property, a percentage of your estate, or “what’s left” after providing for loved ones.
  • Life insurance proceeds – You can name a charity to receive all or a portion of a life insurance policy that is no longer needed for its original purpose.  A gift of this kind may provide income and estate tax benefits.
  • Retirement plans – It’s easy to include a charitable organization as a beneficiary of your retirement plan (IRA, 401(k), etc.).  These gifts can be made by updating the accounts beneficiary designation form.
  • Living Trusts – If you use or plan to use a living trust to provide for loved ones, you can also include charitable gifts.

If you have already included Camp Ondessonk in your estate plans, please complete this Le Coeur Society Letter of Intent and be recognized as a member of the Le Coeur Society today.
