Experience the heart of summer at Camp Ondessonk’s Open House. This FREE event from 1:00-4:00 pm is designed for families to explore, connect, and imagine the adventures ahead. Registration is not required but appreciated for planning purposes. RSVP online today.

Guests will enjoy guided tours of cabins, activity areas, and gathering spaces while seeing campers’ favorite spots throughout camp. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities to participate in classic summer camp activities like archery, fire building, Handicrafts, and pony rides.

Our friendly and knowledgeable camp staff will be available throughout the event to answer questions, share stories, and talk one-on-one about programs, age groups, and what families can expect during the summer. Whether you’re a first-time camp family or returning for another unforgettable season, the Open House is the perfect chance to build excitement, gain confidence, and see how Camp Ondessonk creates a safe, joyful, and meaningful summer experience for every camper.

Camp Ondessonk has proudly served campers since the summer of 1959. Ondessonk’s 983-acre site is adjacent to the Shawnee National Forest and is among the most beautiful summer camps in the United States.  The Ondessonk Experience is deliberately designed to immerse participants in a setting not often encountered by the youths of today. This traditional approach to summer camping allows participants to fully experience their surroundings in a fun, adventurous, and supportive environment.
