This is where it all started.

For 60 years, traditional summer camp programs have been the Ondessonk favorite for kids ages 10-15 years old. All children attending get an opportunity to climb our rock climbing wall and learn basic rock climbing  skills. Teaching what matters most

Climbing Adventure takes the skills straight to the rock climbing wall then and puts them on the trail, moving quickly to hands-on practical work on the rock while experiencing some of the Southern Illinois Rock Climbing scene’s highlights. Spend nights along the shore of one of Camp Ondessonk’s scenic lakes and at Jackson Falls Climbing area each evening to maximize your day’s climbing.Read More
