Ondessonk offers lodging on Airbnb & VRBO
As another way to diversify Camp Ondessonk funding streams, St. Noel lodging can now be reserved through VRBO (Vacation Rentals by Owner) and Airbnb. Four of camp’s many talented construction and maintenance volunteers – Kyle Keserauskis, Ken Haas, Jim Stern, and Jim Shively (L to R in photos), have been at camp all week to spruce up guest rooms in St. Noel. Their contributions will undoubtedly help us increase revenue from vacation seekers from around the country, and introduce many more first-time visitors to Camp Ondessonk’s hidden treasures.
Guests have the opportunity to pre-order in-room meals and experience extraordinary outdoor adventures in the hidden gem that is Southern Illinois. VRBO and Airbnb patrons can explore deep canyons, waterfalls, rock-bottom creeks, and cypress swamps making visitors feel they are in the Ozarks, Smokies, or the Deep South’s bayous without ever leaving the Midwest.
Camp Ondessonk has four lakes available for fishing. Please call ahead for permission and all Illinois state regulations apply. Please refer to the Camp Map to see which lakes are available for fishing. There is no fishing allowed in our swimming lake, Lake St. Isaac. We do not allow personal watercraft or fishing boats on any of our bodies of water.
