Silver Recreation Adventurers Hiking in Southern Illinois

Silver Recreation Adventurers – Join a small group of active seasoned citizens as Camp Ondessonk staff guide you into the forest for a 2-night mini-adventure in the Shawnee National Forest. Through the Silver Recreation Adventurers program, participants will engage in either a variety of recreational activities or focus on just one. Activities include hiking, canoeing/kayaking, and horseback riding. We encourage participants who have a bike to bring it and take advantage of the nearby Tunnel Hill Trail. There will also be the option to explore the nearby Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. Program cost includes hands-on instruction from Camp Ondessonk Staff, a private suite in the St. Noel Center, and a delicious menu of meals designed especially for this group.  This is perfect for a single person, couple, or group of friends to have a great outdoor adventure at Camp Ondessonk and the Shawnee National Forest.
