Education: B.S. in Motion Pictures and Creative Writing from the University of Miami

Kate was an all-star camper in the Ondessonk summer programs before joining summer staff, program staff, and finally becoming full-time Equestrian Director in 2007. During college Kate worked on several feature films including Miami Vice, and the Pirates of the Caribbean series. At the Ondessonk Stables, Kate manages one of the largest horse programs of its kind in the State of Illinois, maintaining accreditation with the Certified Horsemanship Association (C.H.A.). Kate has been riding horses since childhood, enjoying many summers as a Horse Adventure camper at Ondessonk, and has recently become certified as an Assistant Clinic Instructor with the C.H.A. Kate lives with her black lab, Finnegan.
